1. Who we are

Fixtures Hub is a football-information platform providing fixtures, live scores, results, match statistics, team and competition information, community voting and data-based match predictions.

For the information processed through Fixtures Hub, the operator of Fixtures Hub acts as the data controller where applicable. This means we determine why and how relevant personal information is processed.

Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through our Contact page .

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Fixtures Hub website, supported mobile applications and communications sent through official Fixtures Hub forms or services.

It does not control the privacy practices of external websites, application stores, football organisations, advertisers or other services that may be linked from Fixtures Hub. Those services have their own privacy policies.

3. Information we process

3.1 Information generated when you access the service

Like most online services, our servers, hosting providers or security services may process technical information required to deliver and protect the service. This may include:

  • IP address.
  • Date and time of the request.
  • Requested page or API address.
  • Browser, operating system or device information.
  • Referring page where provided by the browser.
  • Request status, error and security information.

This information is mainly used for service delivery, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, preventing misuse and maintaining platform security.

3.2 Anonymous or pseudonymous visitor identifier

Fixtures Hub may assign a randomly generated identifier to a browser. It helps prevent repeated voting on the same fixture and may support other basic website functions.

The identifier does not directly contain your name or email address. However, because it is a persistent online identifier, it may still be treated as personal information under some privacy laws.

3.3 Fixture voting

When you vote on a fixture, we may store the selected outcome, fixture identifier, anonymous visitor identifier, submission time and limited security information.

This is used to display voting totals, reduce duplicate votes and protect the voting feature from automated or abusive submissions.

3.4 Contact messages

When you contact us, we may process the information you submit, including your name, email address, subject, message, relevant page address and any other details you choose to provide.

We may also process the submission time and IP address for spam prevention, security, troubleshooting and responding to the request.

3.5 Newsletter or email updates

If you voluntarily subscribe to a newsletter or email update, we process the submitted email address and subscription status so that we can send the requested communication.

You may unsubscribe using the link provided in an email or by contacting us.

3.6 Information we do not request

  • No Fixtures Hub browsing account or password is required.
  • We do not accept wagers or maintain betting balances.
  • We do not request payment-card details for browsing the service.
  • We do not ask visitors to provide sensitive personal information through ordinary website forms.

4. How we use information

Depending on the feature used, information may be processed to:

  • Provide fixtures, live scores, results and other website functions.
  • Operate and secure the website and mobile application.
  • Prevent duplicate votes, spam, misuse and automated attacks.
  • Respond to questions, reports and support requests.
  • Send requested newsletters or fixture-related communications.
  • Diagnose errors and improve reliability and performance.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.

Legal reasons for processing

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on providing a service you requested, your consent, compliance with a legal obligation or our legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving Fixtures Hub. Consent may be withdrawn where consent is the applicable basis.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Fixtures Hub may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for functionality, security and remembering visitor preferences. These technologies do not necessarily contain a visitor’s name, but they can recognise the same browser.

If Fixtures Hub introduces analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking technologies, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are used.

6. Sharing and service providers

Fixtures Hub does not sell personal information.

Limited information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the platform, such as:

  • Website and database hosting providers.
  • Content-delivery, network and security providers.
  • Email-delivery providers used for requested communications.
  • Technical support and maintenance providers.

Providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to deliver their service, protect their systems or comply with applicable law.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect Fixtures Hub and its users, to investigate abuse or in connection with a legitimate organisational transfer.

International data processing

Hosting, security or email providers may operate infrastructure in different countries. Where information is processed outside the visitor’s country, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards where required.

7. How long information is retained

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, operational and legal requirements.

  • Contact messages: retained while the request is being handled and for a reasonable follow-up or record-keeping period.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe, after which a limited suppression record may be kept to respect the request.
  • Voting records: retained while needed to maintain voting integrity, calculate totals and prevent repeated submissions.
  • Browser identifiers: retained until expiry, replacement or deletion through the visitor’s browser controls.
  • Server and security logs: retained according to operational and security needs, hosting settings and applicable legal requirements.

Information may be retained longer where required to comply with law, investigate abuse, resolve disputes or protect legal rights.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we process personal information about you.
  • Request access to relevant personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion where legally applicable.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Request a portable copy where applicable.
  • Complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Because Fixtures Hub does not require browsing accounts, we may have limited ability to identify information as belonging to a particular visitor. We may request reasonable information to verify and locate a relevant record before completing a request.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss and misuse.

These measures may include encrypted connections, access controls, request validation, rate limits, security monitoring, backups and software maintenance.

No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information through ordinary contact forms.

10. Children’s privacy

Fixtures Hub provides general football information and does not require an account for ordinary browsing.

We do not knowingly request sensitive personal information from children. A child should not submit personal contact details without the knowledge of a parent or guardian where this is required by applicable law.

A parent or guardian who believes that a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review or deletion.

Automated processing and football predictions

Fixtures Hub may use automated calculations to generate football statistics and match predictions. These calculations relate to football fixtures and teams; they are not used to make decisions about visitors that produce legal or similarly significant personal effects.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when website features, mobile applications, service providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top of the page will be updated when a material revision is published.

Visitors should review this page periodically for the latest information.

12. Contact and complaints

To ask a question, exercise a privacy right or report a concern, use the Fixtures Hub Contact page. Include enough information for us to understand and locate the relevant record, but do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

You may also have the right to submit a complaint to the data-protection authority responsible for your country or region.
